Frequently Ask Questions about our Body Butter

The beauty of completely natural ingredients is you can use it all over the body and even your hair. If using it on your face please be mindful if you have super sensitive skin as some of the butters may be a little intense or oily for some skin types.

What is body butter used for?

Deep Hydration: Body butters help you achieve healthy-looking and irresistibly smooth skin.

Long-Lasting Moisturising: Body butter hydrates for hours, delivering moisture and nutrients to dry skin that needs it most.

Revitalising: The intense hydration of body butter makes it ideal for treating areas prone to dry dull skin.

Overall Powerhouse: As the body butter absorbs into your skin, it provides long-lasting hydration and helps nourish your skin leaving it glowing.

What is body butter made of?

Body butter is a skin moisturiser that typically contains natural butters and oils.

We have created ours using Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil - which if we do say so ourselves they are the best combinations to deeply moisturise and nourish your skin.

Body butter is thicker than body lotions and moisturizers, which is why you'll find it in a jar rather than a bottle so you can easily scoop out your desired amount of body cream.

How do you use Body Butter?

Applying body butter after your daily shower or bath is the best way to use it. Pat your body dry with a towel, not completely drying your skin.

Then, gently massage a generous scoop of body butter into your skin until fully absorbed.

Where do you apply it?

All over the body - but be mindful if applying to your face if you have sensitive skin or prone to breakout or acne.

Paying special attention to your elbows, knees, hands, and feet when applying body butter. These are all areas that are more prone to dryness, so a generous layer of body butter will greatly help to nourish these problem areas.

Is body butter good for eczema?

Shea butter is the most effective eczema body butter for relieving symptoms. For example, after showering, apply shea butter to your entire body or to affected areas. Simply pat your skin dry before applying for best results.

Can it reduce the appearance of stretch marks?

Our body butter may reduce the appearance but there’s no real evidence to prove it does but applying it multiple times a day may reduce redness. The beauty is we are all different and it may work for some and others it may not.
